The "Ficcanaso" (namely, the "Nosy") is a curious character who looks like a feathered bird.
This allegorical mask, who works for the Doge (the chief magistrate  in the republics of Venice), spends his time roaming the Venetian  "calli" (streets) and "campielli" (squares), always searching for hidden  secrets and important information. He knows anything  about everyone, and no secrets is safe when he is around!
In keeping with the Campiello tradition every aspect of the  production process is hand-crafted. From the initial moulding, to the  papier-mâché, the plumage made with hand-painted stucco, and the thick  hemp eyebrows which gives this mask the intriguing  look of a bird. The feeling of wearing our unique masks will transport  you into a world of magic and intrigue.
To ensure comfort, each wearable model is fitted with an internal cushion.
