Pierrot was born in Italy as Pedrolino, a figure rooted in the tradition of the Zanni, but he found his true form in France, becoming the silent poet of the Commedia dell’Arte — the one who sighs at the moon.
He longs for an unattainable love, dreamt of during his nights of waiting, lit only by the pale reflection in his black tear — a symbol of the quiet sorrow that binds him to unreachable ideals, like the Moon or the elusive Colombina.
And yet, behind the pale shadow of his face, his red mouth stands out: melancholic, yes, but alive with the color of passion.
There, a whisper of hope hides — an echo of desire that never fades, a silent promise of endless love.
This is how we at Il Campiello present our interpretation of Pierrot: in two versions — wearable as a half-face mask or decorative — with a black velvet cap adorned by a round silver-leaf moon.
With a sorrowful gaze, always touched by a glimmer of hope, this mask becomes a delicate symbol of that nostalgia that knows how to become art.
To ensure greater comfort, each wearable model that requires it is equipped with an internal cushion.
