In Greek mythology, the Stymphalian bird was a fierce creature, devourer of human flesh. Equipped with metallic beak and talons, it bore wings with bronze feathers as sharp as blades. Only Heracles, in his legendary sixth labor, managed to drive it away. Inspired by this fascinating mythical creature, we present our own timeless interpretation, signed Il Campiello.
As tradition dictates, each of our masks begins with a handcrafted model of our own design. Hand-laid papier-mâché, brilliant copper leaf, and bronzed stucco detailing come together to give you the unmatched sensation of holding a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
For enhanced comfort, each wearable model that requires it is fitted with an inner cushion.
Upon request, for intensive use, we can also add an internal gauze lining.
