The prestigious silk from "San Leucio", which has been chosen here  at Campiello to decorate our papier-mâché Arlecchino, is made by hand by  skilled tailors and was once used to decorate the marvellous Reggia di  Caserta (the Royal Palace of Caserta).
An ancient tale reminds us that a little piece of each mask in the  Commedia dell"Arte was donated to create the richly coloured outfit of  Arlecchino. Thus, this mask is considered the most iconic one in Venice  since it contains a bit of every other mask  in it.
Given the endless possible matching of colours and trimmings, no  combination of cloth and gold leaf will ever be the same, which is why  every mask is a unique and valuable piece.
To ensure greater comfort, each wearable model is equipped with an internal cushion.
