Brighella got its name from the word "briga", which means intrigue.
A very good  friend of the famous “Arlecchino”, he spends his time having reckless  fun with him inside of the ancient walls of his city of origin, Bergamo  Alta (the oldest part of the city of Bergamo).
Brighella is a  servant, who obeys his master with a cunning and opportunistic attitude,  always taking advantage of every situation.
A serial liar, he  cannot understand the difference between the truth and a lie. When the  circumstances require it, he can be hot-headed, but in general he  prefers to reach his goals using his seductive malice.
The graceful  purity of his white suit seems to clash with his unique nature, but we  must admit that we like him the way he is: always cheerful, lively,  reckless and irreverent, a dishonest servant who is always busy  dealing with his scams and intrigues.
 
In keeping with the Campiello tradition, every mask we produce comes from a model we make ourselves. The papier-mâché placed by hand between the wrinkle grooves and the black knight's  moustache, give to this mask that iconic look which is known all over  the world and will make you experience the priceless feeling of holding a unique piece in  your hands.
